600 books will be published in the UK today

I recently read an article in The Guardian that said:
“On 3 September 2020, almost 600 new books will be published, an increase of about a third from last year”.
This increase has been attributed to the pandemic. Dozens of literary festivals have been cancelled or run online, and book shops have remained closed for many months.
Despite the future remaining uncertain, publishers need to see a return on their investment, and have wanted to avoid the summer lull.
And that figure does not take into account self-published and partnership-published books that will be live and launched today.
Even without these startling statistics, I’m sure that I don’t need to tell you that there’s a lot of competition out there when you publish your book.
Meaning that if you’re writing your book right now, you can’t afford for your book to get lost in the melee of everything already published or coming soon.
Your book needs to be aligned to your business, so that it helps you to attract more of the right clients and opportunities.
It needs to be written in the right way, and be professionally published, so that your readers will love it and recommend it to their friends.
And you need to be able to leverage your book, and build a thriving community whilst you write it, so that it gives you the best possible results.
These are all areas where I can help.
