Writing a book is scary

I say to my clients that writing a book isn’t for the fainthearted. It’s a hell of a feat and if you’re not ready for some of the ups and downs that go with the process, then I suggest you don’t go there. My writing has often been fuelled by coffee and chocolate. Let’s be honest now!

It’s also an amazing process. Most people are incredibly proud once they’ve finished writing it and have it published and, for many, just the process of putting their words on paper is incredibly cathartic.

It not only allows you to get clear on what it is that you actually do, it enables you to get this message out to more people and make a bigger difference. It helps you to stand out as an expert because people can, at a glance, see exactly what you do.

There’s no hiding any more.

You can’t get away with blending into the crowd.

But hey won’t it be great when you no longer keep http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/viagra_generic.html your knowledge and expertise to yourself – and others can see how great you are too!

And it’s even better when your book helps you to grow your business and allows you to each people who need to know your stuff.

I don’t think we’d be human if we didn’t have those gremlins on our shoulders or those monkeys in our mind questioning whether we can do something. They’re there to protect us and keep us safe. But they can easily keep us small, stop us from reaching our full potential, and hold us back.  Yes writing a book can be scary, so watch this first of a short series of videos that I recently recorded for you. Let me give you some pointers to turn your fear into excitement!

If you’re ready to get rid of your gremlins once and for all, then join me on Saturday 25 April for Your Book is the Hook Live, where you’ll leave motivated to get your book out there!
