Sheryl's Success Story

I’m not one to blow my own trumpet but I thought you’d be interested in this email I received from one of my clients last week.

This is a lady who I’ve known for many years and she’s been my coach at times during my journey too.  Specialising in clean language coaching, she helped me during the years when I struggled, helping me to turn the mountain that I couldn’t climb into a gentle hill that I could scramble up with ease.  After talking about writing for many years, I’m delighted to be helping Sheryl Andrews to get her first book written this year. This is her story and what she said in the email:

“I watched, supported and observed Karen grow into the wonderful book mentor she is today over a number of years. We started as networking buddies supporting and inspiring each other and trialling each other’s products as we both ventured into the world of coaching. Karen was never phased by technology or words. I knew even when I went to her first book launch I wanted to write a book, in fact I know I want to write 16 books and something stopped me. I kind of knew it was fear of some kind and I would watch her doing sky diving, hot coals, glass walking and board breaking and think wow.

But those things never appealed to me to make the leap to overcome whatever was holding me back.

That scary yourself to get stronger stuff really doesn’t work for me and then she launched the writing retreat.

That is when I knew this was the way for me to get the book buy diazepam online written. Being brave enough to have time away from my family just for me, that takes courage. Asking for money to be spent on something just for me that was my kind of scary and it was just scary enough to make it possible to try.

I was invited in Sept 2014 but that was too soon and yet knowing in Sept 2014 that I wanted to go in Sept 2015 meant that I could do the ground work to get myself ready.

Karen has been so generous with her time knowledge and wisdom even before I signed up for and actually booked the retreat. Now that I am booked the weekly accountability has started, the peer support in the group with other writers is amazing. It’s like Karen is just a few steps ahead beating down the path and showing me the way whilst my peer support and budding writers are there going come on Sheryl ‘we’ can do this. It is the most incredible thing and I am so grateful to have this opportunity to share space with so many people finding the courage to share their ‘stuff’.

If you have been thinking about writing a book and you know it is fear holding you back talk to Karen she has so many tools & experience at her disposal to get you started.”

I do hope this will inspire you with your book writing journey and if you’d like to grab one of the last remaining places for the writing retreat, please email me at karen@selfdiscoverycoaching.co.uk today.
