Interview with Helen Battersby and Anne Stenbom, authors of The Discovery Prism
Many authors struggle to find their voice when they’re writing a book, so what happens when two authors are involved in a book writing project?
I’ve known Helen Battersby for many years, and when she approached me to support her and her colleague, Anne Stenbom to write their book, I was delighted to do so.
Both corporate coaches and trainers, running Global Business Leaders, they help organisations to uncover the extraordinary potential of their people. Their knowledge and expertise helped form the content of their book, The Discovery Prism.
The interview
I recently interviewed Helen and Anne to find out what’s happened since they published their book earlier this year, and what’s next for them.
They found that working with two distinct voices was both a challenge and a blessing. In our interview, we talked about how they worked together to merge their voices, and how this led to greater depth in their work.
Like many clients, their message and their framework developed hugely as they wrote their book. This helped them to identify what sets them apart from others and also build their credibility and brand. It gave them many benefits that they didn’t expect when they started!
Having us support them every step of the way – including the publishing – gave them a sense of comfort and security along the journey. When there are so many moving parts to writing and publishing a book, having that a combination of the help and co-creation of the book was invaluable. And they’ve already had people quoting their book back to them!

The book has helped them to position themselves in their industry. As well as being proud of their work, it’s already resulted in new leads and referrals, and made a huge difference to their message and branding.
