I couldn’t have written my book without Karen
I have really enjoyed what turned out to be a 2+ year marathon with Karen. My book Awaken Your Intuitive Vision – unlocking possibilities you never knew existed is about to be published and gathers together a coherent, entertaining, and educational creative visioning process I’ve been developing for the last 10 years.
It was a stretch financially for me but indeed worth it. I couldn’t have written the book on my own; the project was too complex. Without sounding too boastful, I genuinely didn’t realise how intelligent a voice I had in the field of creativity until I was reading the finished manuscript, which had by then received the very professional input of both the editor and proofreader. There were times as I was reading that I wondered: “Where did that writing come from?”
The book represents a significant milestone in my career. Although the project has come to an end, with Karen’s encouragement I have given myself permission to have a voice, so I’d like to think my writing career is really just beginning. It hasn’t quite sunk in that I have produced a body of knowledge in print, but I do know how truly satisfying it feels to have gathered my wisdom together into a coherent whole, which Karen enabled. She was the first to read the manuscript and her creative steer gave the book a significant shape and direction that it would have lacked without.
I also found Karen to be steady and reliable with her professional guidance in support of the business-building activity that inevitably must accompany the writing of a business-building book, if it is to get off the ground. I’d liked to have advanced further with the business but in the time I had available. However my understanding of the requirement is a million times further forward than when I started out, thanks to be able to participate in the various events and activities Librotas offer in tandem to the book mentoring itself. Altogether they provide a very professional, personal and comprehensive package.
