Want to write a book – make it important enough!
One of the 7 biggest mistakes that many business owners make when they write a book is this: they don’t make writing their book important enough.
- Is it really worth starting to write a book if you are never going to make it happen?
- How would you feel if you wrote thousands of words and never finished it?
- How much time will you waste or money will you lose if you don’t make it a priority?
Now writing a book is a pretty big task, but it is one that can be completed in as little as a few months with the right support and focus. Actually getting your book done quickly is a better motivator than giving yourself a year. It is easy for it to fall out of favour or you may find that other things to come to the front of the queue.
How important is your book?
For your book to happen, you have to make it an important part of your life. If you need convincing, let me share a few reasons why you need to do it.
Writing a book is a great way to stand out from the crowd, demonstrate your expertise and build your credibility. It is also an expensive (but effective) business card and a good way to open doors to new opportunities.
If you started out in business to make a bigger difference and reach more people, then making your book a priority is advice that I suggest you take on board.
It goes without saying that if you want to generate more leads, talk to more prospects and reach more clients, then it is a brilliant step to take.
How writing a book will help your business
Ironically enough, writing the right cialis book will simplify your business. I teach this in my new book, Your Book is the Hook.
The very first thing you need to do is to get you and your business book ready. Part of this is helping you to get clear on who your readers, what problem your book solves and how you can help, and this will make your marketing easier, your message clearer and your system simpler.
What do you need to do to make writing your book important?
If you’ve decided that 2015 is the year of your book, how will you put aside the time and energy it needs?
Do you need to create some space to write?
Do you need help from others to make it happen?
Do you need to put into place a plan to get it done?
If you’d like to chat about how I can help you with all of these and enable you to go from your idea to a published book within 6 months, then contact me to find out more about my one-to-one services, events and writing retreat, I’d love to help you further.
