What happens at a book launch party?

This week I am delighted to announce the launch of my new book ‘Your Book is the Hook’ – and I’m having a party to celebrate!

I’ve been asked what happens at a book launch party, so I thought I’d use this opportunity to tell you what takes place, and give you some tips to organise your own bash!

What happens at a book launch party?

Well to be honest anything goes… This is my second official book launch party and I’ve been to many others too. I also thought it was a great opportunity to show you how it’s done!

A book launch party is a chance to celebrate your book, and to bring together friends, clients, family in one room. You can raise a glass to the end project and commemorate the occasion.

If you’ve had your head in your writing for the last couple of months and have been frantically busy, it also enables you to thank those people who have been involved in making it happen.

Of course your book launch party is also a great opportunity to sell your book, get you  and your book noticed, and tell people what’s next – and how you can help them further.

You can decide whether you want it to be a private affair, or if, like me, you’d like everyone you know to be there!

When you get your copy of ‘Your Book is the Hook’, you’ll discover that it is one of three brilliant ways to create a buzz with your book.

You’ll have to turn to chapter 16 to find out what to do, and I’ll be showing you how I’ve implemented the 11 steps from the book and some of the things that work. This is especially important if you are taking my advice and writing a book this year.

Join me at my book launch party!

At my book launch party on the evening of Thursday 5 February in Winchester, Hampshire, you’ll be welcome with a glass of bubbly, you’ll get to connect with like-minded people (potential great contacts or clients), and you’ll hear me spill some of the secrets from the book too.

Of course. there may be a wow or two, but I’m not going to say any more – just to keep you in suspense! Book your place here and I can’t wait to celebrate with you.
