5 reasons why most business authors fail
Writing a book doesn’t guarantee your success.
Just putting your words down on paper and hoping that it will help you to attract more clients isn’t going to cut it.
And actually most business authors and their books fail.
Why you may ask?
Here are 5 reasons why most business authors fail
- They write their book and do nothing with it or launch it halfheartedly. They consider it done and then jump onto the next new project rather than consolidating what they’ve already created.
- They write the wrong book for their business. So it does nothing to help them to reach the clients they want to help.
- They have dreams to write a book and never finish it. Then they don’t have the final copy to show for their efforts and their ideas.
- They don’t demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in their book. Their readers fail to understand what they do and how they can get further support.
- They fail to do any marketing alongside writing it, and don’t use it as a marketing tool at any stage during their book writing journey.

It needs to generate sales – either directly or indirectly – that helps you to attract more clients and generate more business, ideally before you’ve published it.
It needs to raise your profile, your authority and allow you to showcase all that you’re good at.
That’s why I ran the recent Book Masterclass. I wanted to share essential must-knows that will help you to get the most from your book.
If you missed joining me live, then please do go here to watch the recording.
I also shared some strategies about how I can help you further, including our events coming in 2017 and a sneak preview into a brand new retainer programme which I’m launching next month.
