How to successfully launch a book [week 5 – pre-launch book marketing]

Too many people hold back from writing their books because they can't see how they can reap the rewards until their book is published. And then they get excited when I tell them about the possibilities and how pre-launch book marketing fits in!

Others see writing as a big task that's all on them. And it's not.

I explore both topics in this week's book launch update - as this links into why I have updated Book Marketing Made Simple. I'll also give you an insight into what's been going on in my book launch world this week.

Pre-launch book marketing

In a nutshell, there's lots you can do to build your community and raise your profile whilst you write your book - and this is one of the reasons why I updated mine.

When you take your reader on a journey with you during the process, this will ensure that you write the book they want to read and they will be the first to buy it when it launches.

If you engage with them formally, whether you do interviews, a survey, case studies or seek expert tips, you can get into their heads and find out what they want to hear from you.

And when you use this information in your book, then you don't need to spend all of your time coming up with new content.
