How to successfully launch a book [week 6 – Amazon tips]

There are two types of people who need to be able to discover your book:

1. Those who already know you – clients, prospective clients and those you will likely nurture as you write your book.

2. Those who don’t know you yet – the chances are that your book solves a problem they are grappling with.

And this second group of people will only be able to find it with your help!

That’s what I talk about in today’s video with lots of great Amazon tips to help you.

There are three things I mention specifically: Categories, keywords and your description. And I mention Publisher Rocket in the video – here is my link.

Let’s get your book in the hands of people who need it!

Amazon tips

Here’s a summary of some of the things I mention.

1. Categories – there are 16,000 book-related categories on Amazon, so you need to get it right, as this impacts on your ability to become an Amazon bestseller. Look at other books in your genre and Publisher Rocket can assist you in this area.

2. Keywords – this is what people search for to find your book. There are various tools that can help – Amazon in Incognito mode, Google keyword planner and Publisher Rocket to name a few.

3. Description – this is what people will read before they buy your book, so it needs to be compelling.

There are a few other things that are important. These include mastering your Amazon author central profile, your bio and getting reviews for your book.
