How to create multiple streams of income from your book

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Writing a book isn't just about writing your book. It's important to think about how you can use it as a business building tool.

One way of doing this is by creating new products, programmes or events from the content, which enables you to create multiple streams of income from your book.

When I wrote Your Book is the Hook, I developed and sold a programme that I ran alongside writing it.

This had multiple benefits:

• Running a webinar every week gave me the impetus to create the content quickly.
• I was able to seek feedback on my material and was able to hone the book accordingly.
• My programme and services generated a significant income as I was able to demonstrate my knowledge and reach more people.
• I wrote and published the book in less than six months.

There was no slacking, I just went all out to create and publish the book.

Whether you write your book first then create a product, programme or event, or do it like I did and run the programme first, writing a book will give you the confidence to create new products and programmes that your clients want to buy from you.
